The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Belt shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Gable as he jumps to the side.
Belt shoots in looking for a takedown but Gable manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Belt's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Black Belt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gable lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Belt dives in and grabs Gable's left leg, looking for a takedown. Gable pushes down on Belt's head and hops out.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Gable looks to throw the jab but Belt is out of range.
Belt changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gable tries to avoid it but Belt manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gable to the ground. Gable escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Belt misses with a takedown attempt - Gable sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Gable lands a big right hand that sends Belt crashing to the mat! Gable stays standing though and waves Belt back to his feet!

It looks like Black Belt has been cut.

and Gable counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Belt! He's just covering up as Gable starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
