Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Brian Jones!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Viktor Lagutenko and Igor Prikhodko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

The referee is keeping an eye on Poldi - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Poldi tries to land a knee to the head but Jones blocks with his arms.

Poldi throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

Poldi bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Poldi lands with a nice body punch.
Jones misses with a double jab.
Poldi punishes Jones's body with a nice straight punch.

The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Poldi for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.
