Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sombat Banchamek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Cooper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sombat Banchamek!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sam Cooper!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Tiny Johnson and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Banchamek tries to sprawl but Cooper drives through with a takedown into half guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Cooper trying to control the pace.

Cooper content to control rather than advance.
Cooper is looking to advance position but Banchamek won't allow it.
Cooper stops Banchamek from getting back to his feet.

Banchamek trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!

Cooper takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Banchamek reaches up to try and control the position but Cooper seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Banchamek rolls and tries to escape and now Cooper has his back!
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

Cooper is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

Banchamek is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Cooper.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Sam Cooper wasn't active enough on the ground.

Banchamek's jab looks to have found its range, popping Cooper under the eye.

Cooper misses with a takedown attempt - Banchamek sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Sombat Banchamek has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sam Cooper.
Banchamek feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Coopers jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Banchamek lands with a hook. Cooper tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Sombat Banchamek is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Banchamek cracks Cooper with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Banchamek slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Banchamek is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Banchamek scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Sombat Banchamek will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Banchamek shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Cooper eats them both and turns towards Banchamek to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
A lazy left from Banchamek finds it's target.

Cooper fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Banchamek sprawls well initially but Cooper persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Cooper seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Cooper takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Cooper moves to the back position.
Cooper is punishing Banchamek with strikes - can he finish him?!
Banchamek looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
Banchamek is defending well here and trying to improve his position.

Cooper is working for a rear naked choke. Banchamek is not defending it well and Cooper has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Banchamek refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Banchamek's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Sam Cooper!
