The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robinson throws a predictable looking body shot
and Pettersn counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Robinson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Pettersn sprawls well. Pettersn wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Robinson gets slowly back to his feet.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Robinson has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Robinson dives in and grabs Pettersn's left leg, looking for a takedown. Pettersn pushes down on Robinson's head and hops out.
Pettersn punishes Robinson's body with a nice straight punch.
Robinson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Pettersn is fending him off so far but Robinson persists. Nope, Pettersn circles away and we're back to standing.
