Furstenfeld comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Say It - Blue October kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barnes keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Charlie Furstenfeld seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Furstenfeld shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Furstenfeld was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Furstenfeld closes the distance and clinches up with Barnes, looking for a takedown. Furstenfeld pushes Barnes against the cage but Barnes circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Furstenfeld looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Barnes is fending him off so far but Furstenfeld persists. Nope, Barnes circles away and we're back to standing.
BJ Barnes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Charlie Furstenfeld.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Furstenfeld.
Barnes drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Barnes is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Furstenfeld is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Furstenfeld is not content to let Barnes control the position.
Barnes is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Furstenfeld is trying to escape and Barnes transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Furstenfeld is forced to tap! Nice work there by Barnes! Very nice indeed!
