Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Angelo Charles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Solid Snake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Angelo Charles!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Solid Snake!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Dean Styles and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Snake clinches up with Charles and pushes him back against the cage.
Charles is trying to break the clinch but Snake has him pressed against the cage.
Snake is leaning against Charles and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Snake tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Charles really is a fat lump.

Snake breaks from the clinch.
Snake avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Snake shoots in and drives through. Charles sprawls well.

Snake clinches up against the cage.

Snake's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Snake moves into the clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Snake's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Charles keeps control of Snake as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Snake breaks from the clinch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Snake feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Charles's calf.

Snake rushes Charles and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Snake breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Snake has managed to clinch.
Snake has Charles pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Charles manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Angelo Charles has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Solid Snake.

Charles escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Snake avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Charles is looking to clinch.
Charles tries to clinch up but Snake circles away and keeps his distance.

Snake moves into range and clinches up with Charles.

Snake breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Charles is trying to push Snake away but Snake has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Snake lands an elbow just above Charles 's eye.


It looks like Angelo Charles has been cut.

Snake manages to break the clinch.
Snake changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Charles tries to avoid it but Snake manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Charles to the ground. Charles escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Snake has taken the fight to the clinch.

Snake gets control of Charles's arms and successfully pulls guard. Snake will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Snake trying to control the position.
Charles throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Snake works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Snake throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

Charles gets to his feet. Snake looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Snake throws a series of punches but Charles avoids them all with ease.
Charles stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Snake.
Snake takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

Snake throws a right and a left that Charles avoids nicely.

Snake takes the fight into the clinch.
Charles is stalling here.

Snake breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Charles tries to clinch but Snake is having none of it.

Snake moves into the clinch.

Snake escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Snake tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Charles is able to avoid easily.
Snake shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Charles but Charles pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Snake fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Charles avoids it really well and circles away.
Snake looks winded!

Snake moves into the clinch.

Snake breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Snake gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Snake tries to score a body lock takedown but Charles shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Charles breaks from the clinch.
Charles shoots in but no luck this time.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Charles has closed the distance and engaged Snake in a clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Charles works on Snake's body with a couple of short punches.

Snake's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

and Charles moves into the clinch.
Charles is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Snake is keeping busy.

Snake jumps guard but Charles stands there with Snake around his waist. Snake gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!



Snake gets caught flat footed, as Charles shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Charles postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Snake is pulling down on Charles's head. It's preventing any offense from Charles, at least for the moment.

Charles drops back looking for a leg! Snake is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Snake manages to kick Charles off! Charles jumps back into Snake's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Charles throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Snake wants to sweep but no luck.
Snake controls Charles momentarily but Charles frees himself.
Charles connects with a couple of short punches.
Snake thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Charles drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Charles jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Snake pushes Charles off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Snake takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Snake throws a lazy body kick
and Charles counters with a solid body kick.
Charles misses with a wild combination.
Snake has a takedown stuffed.

Snake might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Charles haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Charles postures up in Snake's guard and throws a big left but Snake blocks it.

Charles decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Charles is trying to break the clinch but Snake is controlling him.
Angelo Charles has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Solid Snake is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Charles tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Snake's elbow.

I would just about give that final round to Solid Snake.
I've got Snake winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
