Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Roosevelt Coleman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jacob Smith!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Saam Ante and Daniel Blasius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coleman scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Smith throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Coleman's waist but Coleman gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Smith off to one side.
Smith is looking to clinch but Coleman is avoiding it.
Smith on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
A good leg kick by Coleman.
Smith shoots in and drives through. Coleman sprawls well.
Smith fails with the takedown

and Coleman counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Coleman.
Roosevelt Coleman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jacob Smith.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Coleman is in close to Smith's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Coleman is stalling in the full guard.
Smith keeping moving, preventing Coleman from controlling successfully.

Smith is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Smith is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Smith is trying to hold Coleman in close to prevent damage but Coleman has managed to pass into half guard.
Coleman trying to control from half guard but Smith is working away.
Smith trying to hold on to Coleman's head to control him but Coleman postures up.
Coleman is taking a breather. Smith says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Smith is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Coleman pulls his head out easily.
Smith tries to roll over but Coleman keeps him under control.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Coleman is keen to just control but Smith is a slippery customer.
Coleman wants to pass to mount but Smith is defending the position.
Coleman controlling the pace.
Smith is looking to improve his position.

Smith makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Coleman lands with a thumping leg kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Left hook, right uppercut from Coleman.
Smith doesn't succeed with the takedown
enabling Coleman to counter with a crisp jab.

Coleman looks to land a left hand but Smith moved out of range nicely.
Smith is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Smith is trying desperately to land a takedown but Coleman is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Smith.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Coleman lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Smith at a distance.
Smith looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Coleman punishes Smith's body with a nice straight punch.
Coleman lands with a cross.
Coleman ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Smith moves away.
Coleman ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Smith with a poor takedown
and Coleman connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.


Smith is rocked!
Coleman seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Smith looks winded!
Smith switches off momentarily and Coleman cracks him with a monster right hand! Smith topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Coleman dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Coleman!
