Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hubert Raymond (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kan Tutz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kan Tutz has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Hubert Raymond!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kan Tutz!
The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, Winston Howard and Eliza Hachem.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tutz throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Tutz looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Tutz gets caught flat footed, as Raymond shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Raymond throws an elbow that misses. Tutz uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Raymond's guard. Nice move by Tutz!
Raymond has Tutz pulled in close to control his posture.
Raymond's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Hubert Raymond wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Raymond shoots in but Tutz avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Tutz throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Raymond dives in and grabs Tutz's left leg, looking for a takedown. Tutz pushes down on Raymond's head and hops out.

Raymond could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Tutz leaves Raymond with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Raymond shoots in looking for a takedown but Tutz manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Raymond's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Tutz is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Raymond's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Raymond is standing up over Tutz. Tutz looks to escape but Raymond dives into side control.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Tutz misses with a double jab

and Raymond counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Raymond.

Raymond throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Kan Tutz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Raymond darts in and clinches Tutz up against the cage.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Raymond has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Tutz avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Raymond drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Tutz gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Raymond tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Tutz just stands there and leans against the cage.

Raymond throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Tutz works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Tutz is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Raymond is controlling him.

Raymond changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Tutz looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Tutz is trying to buck Raymond off.

Raymond tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Raymond has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Raymond lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Tutz down.
Raymond scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Tutz to see if he's OK.
Tutz tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.

Kan Tutz has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Tutz is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Raymond.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Raymond, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
