Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Derrick King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pes Barbos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). King comes to the cage accompanied by THE GARDEN. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Barbos looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
King throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
King slaps away a takedown attempt from Barbos, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Barbos drives through and clinches with King against the cage.
Barbos gets control of King's arms and successfully pulls guard. Barbos will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
