Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alex Tauber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jahmane Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jahmane Jackson will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson shoots in looking for a takedown but Tauber manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jackson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Jackson looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Tauber tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Jackson shoots in for a takedown but Tauber shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Tauber scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Tauber landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
Tauber wants to control but Jackson is keeping him busy.
Jackson tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Jackson is trying to escape the position but Tauber is controlling the position.
Jackson prevents Tauber from improving position.
The referee asks Tauber politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Tauber prefers to stall for the moment though.

Tauber looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tauber is staying tight to Jackson's torso, preventing him from escaping.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tauber stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Tauber darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Tauber slows the pace down in half guard.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Tauber seems to be looking for submissions.
Tauber is taking a breather. Jackson says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Alex Tauber has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Tauber rushes Jackson and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Tauber gets control of Jackson's arms and successfully pulls guard. Tauber will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Tauber is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Tauber looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jackson is one step ahead there.
Tauber pulls Jackson in close to his closed guard and prevents Jackson from doing any damage or advancing position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Tauber is on top in guard.

Tauber is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Jackson rolls with it to try and escape but Tauber cranks on the arm and Jackson is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
