Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Shrimp McGimp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lester Hayes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McGimp gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

McGimp has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Hayes off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

and Hayes counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Hayes.
Hayes wants to get up but he can't break McGimp's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

and Hayes decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in McGimp's guard.

Hayes wanted to stand there but McGimp had control of the position.

McGimp is trying to hold Hayes in close to prevent damage but Hayes has managed to pass into half guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Hayes wants to control from the top but McGimp keeps moving.

Hayes wants to stand and escape but instead McGimp has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Hayes can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as McGimp controls the pace.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

McGimp closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - McGimp lands in his opponent's guard.

Hayes can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as McGimp controls the pace.
McGimp has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Hayes looking for a triangle here. McGimp is fighting it but it looks tight! Hayes pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, McGimp is tapping out - this one is all over!
