Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kamill The Beast (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matheo Kranc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Kamill The Beast!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Matheo Kranc!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Santiago Holmes and Michael Johnstone.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The Beast looking to score a takedown here. Kranc is defending well but The Beast drives through and ends up in Kranc's guard.
Kranc looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
The Beast trying to control the position from guard on top but Kranc is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Kranc keeping full guard, as The Beast tries to pass.
Kranc keeping moving, preventing The Beast from controlling successfully.
Kranc preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
The Beast throws a strike but Kranc rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Kranc won't allow The Beast to sweep him here.
Kranc is working The Beast over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

The Beast is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Kranc is aware though and is defending well.

Kranc drops back looking for a leg! The Beast is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and The Beast manages to kick Kranc off! Kranc jumps back into The Beast's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kranc throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as The Beast works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Kranc controls from within his opponent's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kranc pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. The Beast is keeping the position for now.
Kranc postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
The Beast throwing strikes off his back to little effect.

The Beast is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
The Beast knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kranc on the ground.
Kranc content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

The Beast is working an open guard so Kranc takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

The Beast fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Kranc sprawls well initially but The Beast persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

The Beast thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Kranc avoiding damage under a succession of punches from The Beast.
The Beast thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Kranc's head.
The Beast wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kranc keeps working.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The Beast stalling away here and it's allowed Kranc to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
Kranc looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
The Beast has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!



The Beast instigates a clinch.

Kranc lands a takedown into guard.
The Beast wants to stand up but Kranc is controlling him.
The Beast wants to sweep but no luck.
The Beast tries to strike from the bottom.
The Beast throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

The Beast escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kranc gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The Beast wants to sweep here but Kranc controlling him for the moment.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Kranc's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Kranc keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of The Beast's head.

Kranc drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kranc jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The Beast escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kranc gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The Beast will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
The Beast wants to stand up but Kranc is controlling him.

Kranc thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
The Beast tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Kranc is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Connects with an elbow from the bottom, proving to the judges that he's still active off his back.

The Beast is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Kamill The Beast overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

The Beast is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Kranc is aware though and is defending well.
The Beast is striking but Kranc is not phased and passes to half guard.
Kranc working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Kranc has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can The Beast defend it? Kranc steps over the head and cranks it - The Beast is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Kranc!

Our winner, Matheo Kranc, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
