The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kostov scores with a spinning back kick!
Kostov avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Kostov wants to clinch up but Pierce keeps it at a distance.
Pierce takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Kostov has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Pierce.
Pierce is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Pierce looks to throw the jab but Kostov is out of range.
Kostov pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Kostov drives through and clinches with Pierce against the cage.
Pierce lands a shoulder strike.
Pierce is working Kostov over against the cage.
Pierce tries to throw a body punch but Kostov avoids it by throwing Pierce back against the cage.
Kostov has Pierce pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Pierce manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Kostov tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Pierce smiles and moves away.
Kostov misses with a right hand
and Pierce counters with a straight right hand.
Pierce looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Kostov closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Kostov throws a lazy body kick
and Pierce counters with a slapping leg kick.

Kostov is looking to chop away at Pierce's legs.
Pierce lands with a nice combination. Kostov backs away looking to recover.
Kostov pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Nice defenses there by Pierce.
Pierce keeps the fight on the outside.
Kostov throws a sloppy head kick and Pierce moves out of range easily.
Kostov looks winded!
Pierce scores with a sloppy right hand. Kostov should have avoided that one.
Kostov throws a head kick that misses.
Pierce uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Kostov has time to react.

Kostov loads up on a big right hand but Pierce slips the punch.
Pierce cracks Kostov with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Pierce drops Kostov with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Kostov looks back up at him and smiles so Pierce waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Kostov is rocked!
Pierce feints a jab and as Kostov dips his head, Pierce unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Kostov right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Kostov falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Pierce smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Lucas Pierce!
Lucas Pierce really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Battle Ready Nutrition & Laundry 90% (Out of Stock logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
