Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chief Keef (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lance Waters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chief Keef could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Lance Waters's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Chief Keef!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Lance Waters!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Stewart Dunkirk and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Keef connects with a nice looking jab.
Waters misses with a low kick.
Keef throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Waters counters with a good low kick that Keef was not able to check.
Keef looks to throw the jab but Waters is out of range.

Keef gets tackled into the cage by Waters. Waters maintains the clinch.

Waters has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Keef regains guard immediately.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Keef can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Waters controls the pace.
Keef is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Keef seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Waters won't allow Keef to sweep him here.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Waters passes Keef's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Waters winds up and cracks Keef with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Waters in particular looking to stall.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Chief Keef just wasn't active enough.

and Waters counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Keef!
Keef is looking for a sweep.

Waters has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Waters looks to land a right hand but Keef moved out of range.
Waters displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Keef throws out the jab.
Waters tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Keef manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Waters with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Waters lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Waters stuns Keef with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
The crowd cheers as Waters lands an impressive looking overhand right. Keef doesn't seem phased though.
Waters scores with a kick to the body.
Keef scores with the left hand. Waters knows he should have avoided that one.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Keef fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Waters, pushing him back against the cage.
Waters is looking to take this one to the mat.
Keef trying to land knees to the body.
Waters is trying to maintain a safe position but Keef gets an underhook and turns Waters into the cage.

Keef escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
No joy there for Keef, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A solid leg kick lands there for Waters.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Waters uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Keef.
Waters thows a body shot but no joy.
Keef scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Keef with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Waters fails with the takedown.
Keef takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Waters gets a clinch.

Waters escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Chief Keef is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Keef checks a low kick from Waters.
Keef tries to clinch but Waters moves out of range.
Waters looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lance Waters dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Waters slips a straight right by Keef.
Keef misses with a double jab.
Keef is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight.
Chief Keef seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A combination from Keef does no damage.
Waters uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Keef.
Waters pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
A head kick misses from Waters.
Keef swings widly with a right hand
and Waters counters with a nice kick to the body.
Keef takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Chief Keef is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Keef throws out a loose jab but Waters uses good head movement to avoid it.
Keef thows a left - swing and a miss!
Keef has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Waters.
Keef throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Waters connects with a nice looking jab.

Keef scores with a sloppy right hand. Waters should have avoided that one.
Waters circles away from the clinch attempt.

It looks like Chief Keef has been cut.

Keef fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Waters on the side of the head.
Waters fails to land the takedown.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Waters.
Waters wants to land a leg kick but Keef is out of range.

Keef fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Waters, pushing him back against the cage.
Keef scores with a knee to the head.


Waters is rocked!
Waters takes a knee to the side of the body.
Waters is still on wobbly legs! Can Keef finish him?
Keef cracks Waters with a nice body shot.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Keef has Waters pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Waters is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Keef - that's hurt Waters badly! Oh, another knee lands and Waters is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Waters doesn't seem to be complaining.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:49 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knees). Chief Keef!
