Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Braulio Maia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivo Havaiano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maia comes into the arena with The Moment Of Truth blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Havaiano drops Maia with a left right combo! Havaiano follows him down to the ground into side control.
Maia is rocked!
It looks like Braulio Maia has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Havaiano decides to stand back up.
Oh Maia is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Havaiano fails to land with a series of punches.
Havaiano throws a right and a left that Maia avoids nicely.

Maia seems to have got his legs back now.

Havaiano uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Maia.
Maia looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Maia slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Havaiano is working an open guard so Maia takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Maia shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Maia is tying to control. Havaiano wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Maia works his foot free and advances to mount.
Maia can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Havaiano is looking to escape.
Havaiano is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Havaiano is looking to improve his position but Maia isn't that keen on the idea.
Poor strikes thrown by Maia there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Maia trying to control but Havaiano is having none of it.
Maia won't let Havaiano get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Maia is landing with some decent strikes but Havaiano is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Maia working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Havaiano turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Maia off and cradles Havaiano's limp body as Maia celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Braulio Maia!
