Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Einari Hautamaki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Javier Esteban!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Josh West and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Esteban rushes Hautamaki and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.
Hautamaki jumps into guard, dragging Esteban to the mat.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Hautamaki has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Esteban should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Hautamaki has tightened it up now! Esteban should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Einari Hautamaki!
