The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jigster misses with a wild body shot.
Wilcox takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Wilcox takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Jigster lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Wilcox circles away quickly and effectively.
Jigster tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Jigster throws a head kick that misses.
Wilcox avoids the head kick by Jigster.

Jigster closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Wilcox is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Jigster frees his head nicely. Oh but Wilcox has switched to an armbar! Jigster is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
