Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Don Schmidt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Probert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Schmidt comes to the cage accompanied by cult of personality. Probert has chosen Lucifer Rising - Rob Zombie as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schmidt throws a combination that misses
and Probert counters with a right hand to the body.

Schmidt ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Probert moves away.

Schmidt has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Schmidt there as he acknowledges the shot.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Schmidt utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Probert seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Schmidt does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Schmidt tries to kick Probert off in order to stand up. Probert Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Probert postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

BOOM! Probert lands a beautiful left hook that drops Schmidt. Schmidt tries to recover but Probert is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Schmidt lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
