And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jasan The Asassin!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Russell Pearce and John Roberts.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ellis is looking to clinch but The Asassin is avoiding it.
The Asassin tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Ellis is able to avoid easily.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - The Asassin has eaten all the pies!

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from The Asassin lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Ellis has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Ellis and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
The Asassin misses with a double jab

and Ellis counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Ellis.
The Asassin tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Ellis smiles and moves away.
A slapping leg kick lands for The Asassin.
The Asassin throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Ellis tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Jasan The Asassin will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The Asassin has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Ellis can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Ellis holds on and takes a little breather.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Cyrus Ellis.
I think Ellis has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
