The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz throws the left hand but Vasilev avoids the punch easily.

and Diaz rattles Vasilev with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Vasilev tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Diaz dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Vasilev stiff and motionless on the mat!

Nigel Diaz decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
