The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scott throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Ulrich.

It looks like Javier Ulrich has been cut.
Ulrich shoots for a takedown but Scott saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Scott fails with an attempt to clinch.

Ulrich shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Ulrich was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Scott is trying to get back to his feet.

Ulrich is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Scott knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Ulrich has hold of Scott's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Scott seems comfortable defending it but Ulrich has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Scott is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Scott is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Ulrich couldn't care less - he's delighted!
