Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Sonny Duncan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kareem Devon!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Alec Ball and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duncan throws a nice looking combination but Devon bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Devon throws a sloppy body shot
and Duncan counters with a three punch combo that has Devon backing up. Devon nods at Duncan to acknowledge the strikes.
Nice takedown defense from Duncan. No joy for Devon on that attempt.
Duncan closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Duncan really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Devon tries to break free but Duncan pushes him back against the cage.

Devon misses with a head shot. Duncan uses the momentum to regain guard.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Duncan is on top in guard.
Devon is pulling down on Duncan's head. It's preventing any offense from Duncan, at least for the moment.
Devon controls Duncan momentarily but Duncan frees himself.
Devon really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Duncan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

and Duncan makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Duncan shoots for a double leg takedown but Devon sprawls well. He's pushed Duncan's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

A lazy body kick from Devon
and Duncan counters with a big head kick but Devon shrugs it off.
Duncan tries to close the distance and clinch up but Devon swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Duncan darts in and clinches Devon up against the cage.
Devon jumps guard but Duncan turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Duncan is struggling to control the position.
Devon is looking for a takedown.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Sonny Duncan will probably get the nod.

Duncan jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Devon walks away with a smile on his face. Duncan gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Devon ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Duncan moves away.
Devon shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Duncan is trying to defend but Devon finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Duncan is not content to let Devon control the position.
Devon wants to pass to mount but Duncan is defending the position.

Duncan is refusing to be controlled, as Devon sits in half guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
The fighters are battling for position here. Duncan manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Duncan wants to stand up but Devon is controlling him.

Devon dives in and grabs Duncan's left leg, looking for a takedown. Duncan pushes down on Devon's head and hops out.

Devon changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Duncan tries to avoid it but Devon manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Duncan to the ground. Duncan escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Kareem Devon showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
