The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boy fails with an attempt to clinch.
Almeida checks a low kick from Boy.
Boy tries to score a power double leg takedown but Almeida sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Boy somewhat.
Boy misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Boy is defended easily by Almeida.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Big Boy. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Boy drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Almeida is controlling Boy's trapped leg to prevent Boy from advancing to side control.

Almeida is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Boy pulls his head out easily.

Almeida tries to strike from the bottom.

Almeida pushes a forearm under Boy's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Boy is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
