Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Coco Butter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joey Sanderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sanderson comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Radioactive-Imagine Dragons kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Butter swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Butter lands a really nice looking cross but Sanderson seems unphased.
Butter connects with a good right hand that stumbles Sanderson. Sanderson circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Butter darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

It looks like Joey Sanderson has been cut.
A punch combination from Butter misses.
Sanderson is looking to clinch but Butter is avoiding it.
Sanderson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Butter as he avoids it easily.
Butter connects with a crisp jab.

Sanderson forces Butter back against the cage and clinches.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Butter's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Butter lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Sanderson circles away quickly and effectively.
Sanderson walks into a straight right hand from Butter.
Sanderson ducks under a wild hook from Butter.

Butter moves into range and clinches up with Sanderson.
Sanderson is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Butter is keeping busy.
Sanderson is looking to break free of the clinch but Butter has double underhooks.
Sanderson tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Butter avoids it.

Butter's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
A combination from Sanderson does no damage.
Sanderson is looking to clinch but Butter is avoiding it.
Butter lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Butter clinches up with Sanderson and pushes him back against the cage.
Sanderson wants to take the fight to the mat but Butter manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Sanderson tries to pull guard but Butter forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Coco Butter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joey Sanderson.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Butter creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Butter lands with a left to the head.
Butter lands a left hand that snaps the head of Sanderson backwards.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Butter pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Butter fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Sanderson, pushing him back against the cage.
Butter lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Sanderson jumps guard but Butter stands there with Sanderson around his waist. Sanderson gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

A bit of stalling here from Butter.
Butter lands a nice uppercut.
Butter stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Sanderson is trying to pull guard but Butter has him pressed against the cage.
Still in the clinch, Butter scores with a nice short uppercut.

Butter lands a left hand that snaps the head of Sanderson backwards.

Coco Butter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Butter takes the fight into the clinch.

Sanderson with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Butter to score with a decent uppercut.

Butter landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Butter tries to land knees in the clinch but Sanderson avoids the damage to the body.
Butter lands an uppercut.

Butter breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Sanderson tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Butter connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Sanderson is rocked!

Butter moves into the clinch successfully.
Sanderson is still on wobbly legs! Can Butter finish him?
Butter lands a left hand that snaps the head of Sanderson backwards.

That has opened up Joey Sanderson's cut even more.

A combination from Butter does no damage.
Butter throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Sanderson stumbling backwards into the cage! Sanderson bounces back off the cage towards Butter, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Butter lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Butter celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
