Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Mad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Casey Rybeck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rybeck moves into the clinch successfully.
Rybeck lands a right hand that snaps the head of Mad backwards.
Mad landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Mad obliges.
Rybeck takes an elbow to the temple.

It looks like Casey Rybeck has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Mad lands an elbow just above Rybeck 's eye.
Rybeck tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

That has opened up Casey Rybeck's cut even more.

Mad lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Rybeck is still on wobbly legs! Can Mad finish him?
Mad comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Mad definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Mad has Rybeck pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Rybeck is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Mad - that's hurt Rybeck badly! Oh, another knee lands and Rybeck is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Rybeck doesn't seem to be complaining.
