Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Twoshoes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Placido Domingo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Johnny Twoshoes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Placido Domingo!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Micheangelo Fripello and Paul Gruel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Twoshoes is looking to clinch but Domingo is avoiding it.
Domingo moves in looking to clinch but Twoshoes pushes him off.
Domingo should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Domingo fails with an attempt to clinch.
Twoshoes circles away from the clinch attempt.

Twoshoes drives through and clinches with Domingo against the cage.

Twoshoes successfully pulls guard.

Twoshoes has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Domingo can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Domingo throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Twoshoes works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Domingo drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Domingo jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Domingo's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Twoshoes working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Domingo.
Domingo slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Twoshoes wants to get back to his feet but Domingo is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Twoshoes can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Domingo controls the pace.
Domingo won't allow Twoshoes to sweep him here.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Placido Domingo wasn't active enough on the ground.
Twoshoes closes the distance and clinches up with Domingo, looking for a takedown. Twoshoes pushes Domingo against the cage but Domingo circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

and Domingo counters with a single leg into guard. Twoshoes didn't expect that.

Twoshoes has a closed guard, preventing Domingo from standing up.
Twoshoes looking for a sweep. Not yet Twoshoes, not yet.
Domingo passes easily into side control. Nice work.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Domingo is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Twoshoes will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Domingo has eaten all the pies!

Domingo lands some shots froms side control.
Domingo staying calm.
Twoshoes is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Domingo has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Twoshoes is breathing heavily.
Domingo controls the position from side control.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Domingo advances to mount.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Domingo cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!


It looks like Johnny Twoshoes has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Domingo avoids the attempt from Twoshoes to control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Domingo tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Placido Domingo dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Johnny Twoshoes's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


No luck for Domingo with that takedown attempt.
Twoshoes misses with a head kick.
Domingo shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Twoshoes defends it nicely.
Twoshoes is looking to clinch.
Domingo looks to clinch
and Twoshoes counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Domingo is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Twoshoes closes this distance looking for a takedown but Domingo circles away.
Domingo stuffs the takedown.
Domingo throws a shot from downtown. Twoshoes moves away and avoids it.
Twoshoes tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Domingo manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Johnny Twoshoes. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Twoshoes clinches.

Domingo drags the fight down to the ground.
Twoshoes trying to control the position from guard on top but Domingo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Placido Domingo has got the better of the ground game so far.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Twoshoes won't allow Domingo to sweep him here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Twoshoes has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Twoshoes got a little sloppy there for a moment and Domingo has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Twoshoes has managed to get both his arms back between Domingo's legs - danger averted.

Domingo has his foot on Twoshoes's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Twoshoes works his way back into a safe position though.

Twoshoes won't allow Domingo to get back to his feet.
Domingo manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Twoshoes manages to get himself to full guard.

Twoshoes wants to sweep here but Domingo controlling him for the moment.
Domingo tries to stand but Twoshoes is controlling from the bottom.

Twoshoes is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Domingo postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Domingo has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Twoshoes is proving hard to escape from.
Domingo pushes down on Twoshoes's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Twoshoes is in trouble now - Domingo has advanced to mount!

Domingo throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Twoshoes has his hands clasped together but Domingo breaks the hold and Twoshoes is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Domingo!
