Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Van Damme (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tadamasa Yamada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Damme comes to the cage accompanied by Fight to Survive. Tadamasa Yamada told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Yamada checks a low kick from Damme.
Damme swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Damme lands a leg kick that knocks Yamada off balance momentarily.
Damme with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Yamada wants to clinch up but Damme keeps it at a distance.
Damme keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Yamada.
A jab from Yamada misses.
A nice inside leg kick there by Damme. That's going to slow Yamada down.
Damme throws the kick towards the body but Yamada avoids it.
Damme attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Damme fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Van Damme seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Yamada thows a left - swing and a miss!
Yamada cracks a nice hook into Damme's ribs.
Yamada bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Damme cracks Yamada with a right hand to the side of the head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Damme!
Yamada throws a lazy right hand but Damme sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Damme looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Damme takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Damme feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Yamada's calf.
Yamada punishes Damme's body with a nice straight punch.
Damme lands with a kick to the temple. Yamada shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Yamada stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Damme.
Damme gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Damme misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Damme scores with a decent looking hook.
Damme circles away from the clinch attempt.
Yamada waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Damme.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Damme misses with a looping left.
Yamada moves in looking to clinch but Damme pushes him off.
Damme swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Yamada walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Damme checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Yamada throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Damme stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Damme tries a low kick but Yamada avoids it.
Yamada wants to clinch.
A jab from Yamada misses.
Damme dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Yamada. That did some damage!
Damme tries to score with a low kick but Yamada moves his leg out of the way.
Yamada drops Damme with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Damme looks back up at him and smiles so Yamada waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Yamada throws a right hand that misses
and Damme finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Damme throws a nice head kick!
Damme staying out of range there.
Yamada has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Yamada there as he acknowledges the shot.
Damme tries a head kick but it misses.
Damme fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Yamada.
Yamada tests Damme's chin there with a solid looking shot.
A head kick misses from Damme.
Damme looks for the body kick but Yamada saw that one coming.
Damme throws a big shot that misses.
Damme throws a chopping leg kick but Yamada manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Damme walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Yamada checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Damme throws a body kick that misses.
Damme lands with a thumping leg kick.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A head punch on the inside from Yamada fails to land.
Yamada scores with a hook to the body.
Yamada prevents a body shot from Damme.
Damme breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Damme looks to land a combination but Yamada avoids it well.
Damme avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Yamada throws a big shot that misses.
Damme looks to throw a body kick
and Damme takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Damme cracks Yamada with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Damme stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Yamada throws a right and a left that both miss.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tadamasa Yamada dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Yamada takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Yamada fails with an attempt to clinch.
Damme lands with a hook. Yamada tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Yamada cracks Damme with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Yamada has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Damme to stand back up!
Damme is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Yamada engages and cracks Damme with a massive lead left hook - Damme tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Yamada is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:24 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Tadamasa Yamada!
During a confident post fight interview, Tadamasa Yamada thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
