The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barnes tries to land a front kick but Murdock steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Murdock definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Murdock jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Murdock, right into the meat.
Harrison Barnes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Murdock lands with a shot to the body.
Murdock misses with a leg kick.
Murdock goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Barnes throws a leg kick
letting Murdock counter with a right hand.
Barnes lets loose with a powerful body kick. Murdock will feel that in the morning.

Murdock takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Barnes on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Barnes takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
A looping hook to the body misses from Murdock. Barnes does a little dance to reset his feet.
Barnes bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Murdock's head.
It looks like Matt Murdock has been cut.
Barnes tries to land a leg kick but Murdock saw it coming and moves away.
Barnes pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Barnes tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Murdock lands the left hand.

Barnes has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Barnes throws a push kick but Murdock slaps the foot to one side.

Barnes lands a jab to the nose.
Murdock throws a shot from downtown. Barnes moves away and avoids it.
Murdock chopping away at his opponent's legs.

Barnes throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Murdock doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Barnes rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Murdock moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Murdock takes a swing at Barnes's ribcage but misses.
Murdock lands a nice looking body kick.
Murdock misses with a wild body shot.
Murdock stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Barnes.
Barnes connects with a solid leg kick.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Barnes.
Decent striking displayed by Murdock there.
Murdock misses with a straight left.
Barnes throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Barnes thows a body shot but no joy.
Barnes looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Murdock lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
A slapping body kick lands there for Murdock.
Murdock connects with a high kick.
Murdock checks the leg kick.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Murdock.
A shot to the body from Barnes misses
and Murdock counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Barnes looks winded!
Barnes lands the left hand.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Barnes circles away from the clinch attempt.
Barnes takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
A low kick from Barnes misses
and Murdock counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Barnes thinking.
Murdock feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Barnes's calf.
A lazy left from Murdock finds it's target.
Murdock throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Barnes stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Barnes connects with an inside leg kick.
Barnes on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Murdock's jab looks to have found its range, popping Barnes under the eye.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Murdock lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Murdock lands with an overhand left.
Barnes is rocked!
BOOM! Murdock lands a beautiful left hook that drops Barnes. Barnes tries to recover but Murdock is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Barnes lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Matt Murdock!
As Matt Murdock got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: Good fight Donnie.'.
