The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joseph looks to land a combination. Howe sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

It looks like Blair Howe has been cut.
Joseph throws a shot from downtown. Howe moves away and avoids it.
Joseph throws a head kick that misses.

Joseph has closed the distance and engaged Howe in a clinch.

Joseph escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Joseph closes the distance and clinches.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Howe drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Howe has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Howe tries to circle away but Joseph has him pinned against the cage.
Howe has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Joseph after a bit of a struggle.
Howe really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Joseph breaks the clinch.
Joseph lands a glancing blow to the side of Howe's head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Howe shoots in but Joseph avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Blair Howe. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Joseph pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Howe back to the cage. Joseph follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Howe is rocked!

Joseph has taken the fight to the clinch.
Oh Howe is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Joseph manages to break the clinch.
Joseph plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Howe to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Howe just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!
