Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shaun Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jax Morrow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morrow throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Johnson misses with a wild body shot.
Morrow takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Morrow cracks Johnson with a good jab.

Johnson fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Morrow to the ground. Johnson is now in Morrow's guard.
Morrow wants to sweep here but Johnson controlling him for the moment.

Johnson stands and steps away. Morrow gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Johnson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Morrow sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Johnson somewhat.

Johnson throws a hook to the side of Morrow's head but Morrow sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Morrow throws a nice looking combination but Johnson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Johnson swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Morrow.

Johnson stands up over Morrow, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Morrow wants to stand up but Johnson is controlling him.
Johnson is looking to work some ground and pound but Morrow has wrist control.
Johnson is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Silverback MMA Academy (Elite + Sauna & 160VM) that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.
Morrow is looking to stand up but Johnson isn't so interested in that idea.

Morrow is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Johnson is aware though and is defending well.
Johnson won't allow Morrow to get back to his feet.
Johnson wants to pass the guard but Morrow is keeping the position.

Johnson advances to half guard.
Johnson is just content to waste time from the top position. Morrow takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Johnson throws an elbow that misses. Morrow uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Johnson's guard. Nice move by Morrow!

Johnson lands a decent punch to the body there.
Johnson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Morrow is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Johnson has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Morrow is looking to defend but Johnson has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Morrow! Johnson pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Morrow taps out and this one is all over!
