And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Barbos throws a left that rocks Miranda and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Barbos dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Miranda regain composure!

It looks like Daniel Miranda has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Miranda seems a little lost for a moment, as Barbos dominates the positioning.
Barbos prevents Miranda from escaping the position.
Miranda is being controlled here.
Let's hope that Barbos has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Miranda is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Barbos has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Barbos stands up and beckons Miranda to his feet.

Barbos fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Miranda, pushing him back against the cage.
Still in the clinch, Barbos scores with a nice short uppercut.

Miranda breaks from the clinch.
Miranda throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

Miranda takes the fight into the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Barbos is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Miranda can't fight it off and eventually Barbos manages to take the fight to the floor. Miranda looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Barbos seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Barbos stands and steps away. Miranda gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Miranda tries a head kick but it misses.
Barbos batters Miranda with a massive right followed by a huge left! Miranda is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Barbos lands a final crushing right hand to drop Miranda to the mat with a gruesome thud! Barbos is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!
