Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Az Newto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kazimeras Klasson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kazimeras Klasson told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Newto breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Newto avoids the head kick by Klasson.
Klasson throws a sloppy head kick and Newto moves out of range easily.
Klasson keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Newto scores with a three punch combo!
Klasson tests Newto's chin there with a solid looking shot.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Klasson tries to bum rush Newto with a series of wild strikes but Newto uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Klasson uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Newto has time to react.

Klasson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Newto was well out of range. Poor timing from Klasson.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Newto pushes Klasson up against the ropes in a clinch.

A close round but Kazimeras Klasson will probably get the nod.

Klasson tries to stall but Newto uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Klasson looks to land a body kick but Newto moved away.
Newto fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Kazimeras Klasson seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Newto pivots, looking for a leg kick but Klasson is out of range and Newto settles back down.

Kazimeras Klasson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

We've been informed that Klasson has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

Klasson takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Newto cracks Klasson with a left hand that drops him to the canvas, up against the ropes! Can Klasson get back up in time? 3, 4, 5, 6, 7... he's on one knee... 8, 9... he's up! 'Walk towards me' says the referee. Klasson looks steady enough to continue so we're going to continue!
Az Newto has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

It looks like Kazimeras Klasson has been cut.

A head kick misses from Klasson.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Newto, right into the meat.
Newto dances in with a quick combination. Klasson is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Newto snaps Klasson's head back. Klasson stumbles backwards against the ropes. Newto steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Klasson's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Klasson just didn't come prepared.
