Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Ashwan Balrak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Ming (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Ashwan Balrak!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Paul Ming!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, James Ackerman and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ming slips under a jab.
Ming changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Balrak tries to clinch but Ming is having none of it.
Some wild striking there from Balrak.

Ming has taken the fight to the clinch.
A battle for position here, against the ropes.
Ming is trying to break free.
Ming is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Balrak swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Ming wants to get back to striking at distance but Balrak won't allow it.
Balrak misses with an elbow strike.
Balrak is looking to control Ming's arms but Ming gets an underhook and turns him. Now Balrak has his back to the ropes.
Balrak pushes off an throws an elbow but Ming leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the ropes.
Balrak blocks an elbow strike.
A frustrated look appears on Ming's face as he tries to break the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Ming blocks an elbow strike.
Ming can't break the clinch.
Balrak missing with knees to the body.
Ming taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Ming continues to stall. The referee tells him to work or he's going to break them up.
Balrak is trying to maintain a safe position but Ming gets an underhook and turns Balrak into the ropes.
Ming manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Balrak lands a hook that snaps the head of Ming backwards.
Balrak looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Ming is trying to push Balrak away but Balrak has him pressed against the ropes, so he's going nowhere.
Ming controlling the action here for a moment.
Ming takes a knee to the side of the body.

Ming escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Balrak throws a series of punches but Ming moves out of range.
Balrak moves to clinch but Ming breaks away
and Ming cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Balrak is breathing heavily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Balrak on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Balrak tries to keep at a distance but Ming has taken the fight into the clinch.
Balrak with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Balrak swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Balrak fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Ming blocks the elbow strike.
Ming can't break the clinch.
Balrak misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Ming.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Ming tries to break free but Balrak pushes him back against the ropes.

Balrak keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Ming's efforts to push away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Nice straight punches there by Ming. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Ming.
Balrak tries to clinch but Ming is having none of it.

Ming is trying to force a seperation but Balrak has the dominant position.
Ming looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Balrak keeps control of Ming as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Balrak is trying to stall.
Balrak tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Ming wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Balrak has him pressed against the ropes.
Balrak blocks an elbow strike from Ming.
Ming working hard to break the clinch.
A nice left hand lands by Balrak.
Ming has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. So far he's outscoring his opponent in the clinch so it seems to have been worthwhile.

Balrak wants to stall.
Balrak misses with a knee to the head.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Ming has had enough of the clinch but Balrak keeps him there for the moment.
Balrak wants to stall.

Ming breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Balrak takes a body punch but keeps moving.
A head kick misses from Ming.

Balrak tries to keep at a distance but Ming has taken the fight into the clinch.

Ming manages to break the clinch.

Ming clinches up with Balrak and pushes him back against the ropes.
Ming wants to break free but Balrak has control.
Ming is trying to break the clinch but Balrak has him pressed against the ropes.

A head punch on the inside from Balrak fails to land.
Balrak can't find room to land a body shot as Ming controls the action.
Balrak tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Ming avoids it.
Ming pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the ropes.
Ming working hard to break the clinch.
Ming throws an elbow but it misses.

Ming manages to break the clinch.
Ming jabs at Balrak's body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Ming tries to circle away but Balrak has him pinned against the ropes.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Balrak lands a right hand.
Balrak missing with knees to the body.
Balrak prevents Ming from breaking the clinch.
Ming wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Paul Ming showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Ming tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Balrak was well out of range. Poor timing from Ming.

Balrak gets tackled into the ropes by Ming. Ming maintains the clinch.
Balrak blocks an elbow strike from Ming.
Ming can't break the clinch.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ming wants to get back to striking at distance but Balrak won't allow it.
Balrak misses with a knee strike.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Ming breaks from the clinch.
Ming goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Ming swats away the attempt to clinch by Balrak.
Ming will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Paul Ming is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Balrak tries to keep at a distance but Ming has taken the fight into the clinch.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Balrak.
Balrak working aggressively here.
Balrak trying to control the position but instead, Ming has worked for underhooks and has pushed Balrak into the ropes.
Ming avoiding damage as Balrak throws knees to the body.
Ming's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Balrak will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Ming up against the ropes.

Paul Ming comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Ming has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
