These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Darius Elerman!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Daniel Blasius and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Elerman has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Elerman there as he acknowledges the shot.
Mann tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Elerman paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Elerman shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Elerman showed some decent athleticism there.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mann knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Elerman on the ground.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Elerman has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Mann's face.

Elerman postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Mann looks a forlorn figure.

Oh Mann is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Well, with Elerman on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Mann is tapping out... Can he escape the position?
