Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Francis DeMontford and Hugh Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ransel looks to land a left hand but LaPugilista moved out of range nicely.
LaPugilista looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
No joy there for LaPugilista, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
LaPugilista throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Ransel on the side of the head.
LaPugilista scores with a jab to the jaw.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The fight stays on the outside here - Ransel looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Ransel waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract LaPugilista.
Edward Ransel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
LaPugilista misses with a looping right.
LaPugilista defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Ransel.
LaPugilista connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Ransel closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. LaPugilista quickly recovers to half guard.
Ransel seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Ransel prevents LaPugilista from improving his position.
Ransel wants to stand up but LaPugilista has a hold of him and won't allow it.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.
It looks like Ransel is going to stand back up.
LaPugilista controlling the leg, holding on to half guard.
Ransel is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Ransel tries to stand and escape but LaPugilista actually recovers to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ransel is looking to stand up but LaPugilista won't let him.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Edward Ransel was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Ransel steps to the side to avoid the strikes from LaPugilista.
LaPugilista takes a swing at Ransel's ribcage but misses.
LaPugilista catches Ransel with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Ransel displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as LaPugilista throws out the jab.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
LaPugilista tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ransel swats him away and circles back towards the center.
LaPugilista swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
LaPugilista is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Ransel.
LaPugilista connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

LaPugilista changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
LaPugilista avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Ransel takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Ransel closes the distance but LaPugilista moves to the side
and LaPugilista counters with a stiff jab, followed by a cross and an uppercut! That's too much punishment for Ransel to take - he tumbles to the canvas, blood pouring from his nose, barely conscious. That's the end of the fight! Great knockout by LaPugilista!
