The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Chris Saunders and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bouter looking to score a takedown here. Parrish is defending well but Bouter drives through and ends up in Parrish's guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Bouter is in close to Parrish's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Bouter has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Parrish is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Parrish looks like he's trying to stand up.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Bouter in particular looking to stall.

Bouter ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Parrish is breathing heavily.
Bouter scores with a takedown into Parrish's guard.
Bouter passes into half guard.
Still in half guard, Bouter seems content to control.
Parrish is striking from the bottom but he's now found himself mounted! Oh dear - not enough focus on defense there.
Parrish is squirming around, avoiding Bouter's attempts to control the action.

The referee warns Parrish that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
It looks like Richie Parrish has been cut.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Parrish swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.
Bouter moves to take his opponent's back.
Parrish won't enjoy being in this position. Bouter looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Parrish is tapping - it's over boys! Bouter picks up the submission victory!
