Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tee Bone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Austin Fowler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bone comes to the cage accompanied by Somebody's gonna get it. Fowler has chosen "On The Hunt" by Lynyrd Skynyrd as his entrance music. Tee Bone has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fowler shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Bone as he avoids it easily.
Horrible takedown by Fowler or perhaps it was just good defense by Bone which made him look bad.
Bone tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Fowler was well out of range. Poor timing from Bone.
Fowler dives in and grabs Bone's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bone pushes down on Fowler's head and hops out.
Tee Bone has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Austin Fowler.

Bone clinches up with Fowler and pushes him back against the cage.
Bone misses with some punches.
Fowler is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Bone pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Bone has hold of one of Fowler's legs. Fowler is fighting the takedown attempt but Bone gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Bone wants to control from the top but Fowler keeps moving.

Fowler is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Tee Bone wasn't doing enough on the ground.

Fowler bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Bone takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Fowler has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Bone!
Bone slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Fowler not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Bone wants to get back to full guard.
Bone wants to get back to his feet.
Bone is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Fowler is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Bone tries to roll over but Fowler keeps him under control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Fowler is pressing down on Bone's thigh, looking to free his foot. Bone is holding on for now.

Bone makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Bone.
Bone wants to sweep here but Fowler controlling him for the moment.
Fowler forces his way into half guard.
Bone wants to get back to full guard.
Fowler slips a nice elbow through Bone's hands, connecting with Bone's forehead.
Bone is trying to get back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Bone looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Bone looking for a guillotine here but Fowler defends easily.
Fowler wants to control from the top but Bone keeps moving.

Bone had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Fowler defends it easily.

Bone has his foot on Fowler's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Fowler works his way back into a safe position though.
We've been hearing good reports from Bone's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Bone is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Fowler frees his head nicely. Oh but Bone has switched to an armbar! Fowler is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
