Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Ramirez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ramirez comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Megadeth-Trust kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Smith!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 27 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Alex Ramirez!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Radbod Blank and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramirez shoots for a takedown but Smith saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Smith lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ramirez circles away quickly and effectively.

Ramirez postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Ramirez drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Smith dives on top into guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Ramirez escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Smith gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

That was a close round but I would say that John Smith will probably get the nod.

Smith rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ramirez moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Oooooh!!! Smith has knocked Ramirez down with a huge combo! Smith steps away and waves a wobbly Ramirez back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Smith cracks Ramirez with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Smith has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Ramirez to stand back up!

Smith cracks Ramirez with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Ramirez tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Smith pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Ramirez is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John Smith!
A relieved looking John Smith thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
