And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Hank Marvin!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Phil Schofield and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A left and a right from Marvin both land. Nice combination.

Frank moves into the clinch.
Marvin takes a knee right on the jaw!
Frank landing knees to the head.
Marvin is trying to break the clinch but Frank is controlling him.
Frank is struggling to control the position.

Frank escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Chris Frank seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Frank pushes Marvin up against the cage in a clinch.
Frank misses with a knee to the head.
Marvin stops a takedown attempt from Frank.
Marvin tries for a takedown. No joy.
Marvin is trying to maintain a safe position but Frank gets an underhook and turns Marvin into the cage.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Frank lands a nice elbow.
Frank has been working on his balance at Rage Fighting Fit Gym, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Marvin.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Frank.
Frank lands a hook that snaps the head of Marvin backwards.
Frank utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.

Frank unloads a knee to the mid-section.
Frank is pushing Marvin up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Frank lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Frank blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Frank prevents a body shot from Marvin.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Frank's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Frank scores with an uppercut up the middle.

Frank breaks the clinch.
Chris Frank is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Frank throws a head kick that looked like it stung.


It looks like Hank Marvin has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Frank throws a lazy head kick
letting Marvin counter with a right hand.
Frank throws a sloppy head kick and Marvin moves out of range easily.
Frank slips a jab and a cross from Marvin.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Marvin crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Frank - the referee stops the clock and Marvin gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Frank. Marvin manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Frank on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Frank is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

Frank breaks the clinch.
Marvin throws a right and a left that Frank avoids nicely.
Nice body kick there by Frank.
Frank throws a nice head kick!
Sloppy strikes from Marvin. Those never looked like landing.
Marvin throws a series of punches but Frank moves out of range.
We've been informed that Marvin has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Marvin looks winded!
Frank lands with a kick to the temple. Marvin shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Frank moves into the clinch.
Marvin takes a shot to the head.
Frank stalling in the clinch.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Frank for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.
Frank seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Frank obliges.

The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Chris Frank.
Marvin swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Frank fakes the leg kick and cracks Marvin in the body.

Marvin tries to keep at a distance but Frank has taken the fight into the clinch.
Frank lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Frank is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Frank pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Frank lands a big head kick that sends Marvin to the canvas! Frank follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chris Frank!
