The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Raybould tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Adams tries to bum rush Raybould with a series of wild strikes but Raybould uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
We've been told by Adams's head coaches at Lawson MMA (UK) that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Raybould throws out a loose jab but Adams uses good head movement to avoid it.
Adams scores with a body shot.

The fighters circle momentarily. Adams darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Adams walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Raybould checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Raybould tries to clinch there but Adams circles away.
Raybould thows a body shot but no joy.
Adams misses with the combination.
Adams is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Raybould.

and Adams counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Raybould looks to land a right hand but Adams moved out of range.

Adams works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Adams lands a nice shot that snaps Raybould's head back.

Adams bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Raybould takes a swing at Adams's ribcage but misses.

Adams takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Raybould cracks Adams with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Raybould has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Adams to stand back up!

It looks like Lawrance Adams has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Raybould measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes Adams! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!
