Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rox James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kosti Johannes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johannes has chosen Raised Fist - Killing It as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Kosti Johannes is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rox James!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kosti Johannes!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Anni Minnemäki.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

James tries to keep at a distance but Johannes has taken the fight into the clinch.
Johannes stops a takedown attempt from James.

Johannes breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Johannes fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with James, pushing him back against the ropes.
James tries to score a body lock takedown but Johannes shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Johannes has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. James is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Johannes lands a hook that snaps the head of James backwards.

Johannes breaks from the clinch.

A big head kick from Johannes and James is sent sprawling to the canvas!

It looks like Rox James has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
James looking for a sweep. Not yet James, not yet.

James escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Johannes gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Johannes wants to get up but he can't break James's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Johannes trying to control the position from guard on top but James is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Johannes is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Johannes stands up and waves to James to follow him.
James just misses with a punch to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Johannes throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Johannes connects with a high kick.
Johannes misses with a two punch combination.
James avoids a punch combination nicely.
Johannes throws a hook but James avoids it easily.

Johannes closes the distance and clinches.
James wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
James tries to pull guard but Johannes holds him up against the ropes and eventually James drops back down to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rox James. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Johannes breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Johannes sends James crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Johannes is motioning to the referee to let James up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
James misses with a wild body shot.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
No joy there for Johannes, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Johannes sends James crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Johannes is motioning to the referee to let James up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

James is rocked!

Rox James's cut is getting worse.
Kosti Johannes is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
A combination from Johannes does no damage.
James bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Johannes comes at him with an uppercut from hell! James falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! James was out before he hit the floor!
