PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Jiang Shi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oskars Treimanis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shi comes to the ring accompanied by See You In Hell by Grim Reaper. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Oskars Treimanis!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shi throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Treimanis scores with a jab.
Crunch! Treimanis slams his shin into Shi's torso.
Treimanis throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Shi throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

It looks like Oskars Treimanis has been cut.
Shi misses with a few strikes there.
Treimanis fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Shi on the side of the head.
Treimanis swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Shi.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Shi takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Treimanis lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Treimanis throws a right hand that Shi ducks under and follows up with a left that Shi also avoids with ease.
Treimanis lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Treimanis scores with the left hand. Shi knows he should have avoided that one.
Shi connects with a looping right hand.
Shi throws a head kick that misses.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Treimanis, as that shot connected.
Treimanis getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Shi takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Shi tries to close the distance and clinch but Treimanis swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Shi attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Shi with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Treimanis to score with a decent uppercut.
Shi drops his guard momentarily, allowing Treimanis to crack him with a picture perfect lead left hook! Boom! Down goes Shi! Oh, he's in big trouble - I don't like his chances here as the referee's count reaches 5. 6,7,8,9...10! He's out! Treimanis takes it!
