Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rusty Orr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frodo Begins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Frodo Begins will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Begins misses with a jab to the body
and Orr counters with a head kick. That will keep Begins thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Begins looking to score a takedown here. Orr is defending well but Begins drives through and ends up in Orr's guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Orr has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Begins can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Begins trying to control the position from guard on top but Orr is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Frodo Begins has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Orr shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Begins works his way to full guard. Good work.

Begins looking for a sweep. Not yet Begins, not yet.
Begins not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Begins is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Orr defends well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Orr prevents Begins from getting back to his feet.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Orr wants to control from the top but Begins keeps moving.
Orr knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Begins on the ground.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Frodo Begins hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Orr goes for a double leg but Begins avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Begins continues to drive forward.
Orr works on Begins's body with a couple of short punches.

Begins pulls guard successfully.

Begins not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Begins wants to hit a switch here but Orr passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Begins there!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Begins wants to hold on but Orr pushes him away.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Begins tries to reverse the position but Orr maintains control.

Begins lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Begins falls off balance throwing a combination
and Orr counters with a two punch combo.

Begins closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Begins lands in his opponent's guard.

Orr working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Begins doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Begins manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Begins would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Begins got a little sloppy there for a moment and Orr has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Begins has managed to get both his arms back between Orr's legs - danger averted.

Begins drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Begins as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Orr screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Begins! Nice submission victory there!
