Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Don Schmidt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karol Janosik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Schmidt comes into the arena with cult of personality blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schmidt lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Janosik at a distance.
Janosik tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Schmidt is able to avoid easily.
Schmidt takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Schmidt throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Schmidt avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Janosik tries to close the distance and clinch up but Schmidt swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Schmidt throws a nice looking combination but Janosik bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Schmidt has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Janosik throws a shot from downtown. Schmidt moves away and avoids it.
Janosik ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
