The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jobber shoots in but no luck this time.
Jobber has been working on his balance at Johny Fighting Temple, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Faithful.
Jobber shoots in looking for a takedown. Faithful tries to sprawl out of it but Jobber keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Faithful manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Faithful moves out of range as Jobber throws a body kick.

Jobber is trying to pull guard but Faithful turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ian Jobber. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Faithful tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Jobber avoids it.

Jobber jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Faithful walks away with a smile on his face. Jobber gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Jobber throws a push kick but Faithful slaps the foot to one side.
Faithful misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Jobber.
Jobber is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Faithful.
Faithful lands with a shot to the body.

Faithful catches Jobber with a right, a left, a right. It's raining punches and Jobber forgot an umbrella! Another punch and he's down. This one is over!
