Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Puckett stuffs the takedown.
Puckett changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Nogueira tries to avoid it but Puckett manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Nogueira to the ground. Nogueira escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Puckett tries to close the distance and clinch up but Nogueira swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Nogueira throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Puckett tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Nogueira is in Puckett's guard.

Puckett bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Nogueira's guard.
Nogueira is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Nogueira looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Puckett puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

Puckett thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Puckett has momentary wrist control but Nogueira slips an elbow through the middle.

Nogueira postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Puckett covers up, he's hurt! Nogueira keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Nogueira and the ref steps in to end the fight! Nogueira can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
