The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva scores with a one two! Rosseti had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Silva bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Rosseti tries to land a front kick but Silva steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Silva misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Rosseti takes one on the button.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rosseti has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Rosseti tries to clinch up but Silva circles away and keeps his distance.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Rosseti is looking to clinch but Silva is avoiding it.
The fight stays on the outside here - Rosseti looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Rosseti misses with a combination
and Silva counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Rosseti closes the distance but Silva moves to the side
and Silva counters with a series of strikes. Rosseti will be more careful next time no doubt.

Silva closes the distance and lands a one-two.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rosseti walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

and Rosseti counters with a takedown into side control.
Silva is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Rosseti tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Rosseti looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Rosseti tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Silva tries to improve position but can't.
Silva is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Rosseti tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Silva manages to get back to half guard.
Silva is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Rosseti's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Rosseti's back!

Silva is persistently looking for the submission but Rosseti is defending it well.

You can see the frustration on Rosseti's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Silva is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Rosseti knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Rosseti for a finish.
Silva is trying to stick to Rosseti's back but Rosseti is turning into Silva. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Silva's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Rosseti.
Silva throws his legs up looking for a submission but Rosseti uses it to pass to side control.
Rosseti has knee on belly and moves into mount.

Silva throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing.

Silva has left one of his arms exposed and Rosseti doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Silva screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
