Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alex Jump (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucas Pierce (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Lucas Pierce!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Richard Clark and James Atkins.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Jump.
Pierce with a hook.

It looks like Alex Jump has been cut.

Pierce fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Jump, pushing him back against the cage.
Pierce is trying to break free.
Jump blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Jump definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Jump tries to break free but Pierce pushes him back against the cage.
Pierce can't find room to land a body shot as Jump controls the action.

Jump pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Jump tries to clinch there but Pierce circles away.
Pierce lands a head shot.
Jump tries to bum rush Pierce with a series of wild strikes but Pierce uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Jump walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Jump is looking to clinch but Pierce is avoiding it.
Lucas Pierce seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pierce paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Pierce throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.

Jump drops his hands momentarily and Pierce takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Pierce closes the distance and clinches up with Jump, looking for a takedown. Pierce pushes Jump against the cage but Jump circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Pierce's coach down at was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Pierce's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Jump tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Pierce paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Jump walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Pierce forces Jump back against the cage and clinches.
Jump content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Pierce tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Jump's elbow.
Pierce wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Jump has him pressed against the cage.

Pierce breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Jump with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Pierce to score with a decent uppercut.

Jump is rocked!

Pierce drives through and clinches with Jump against the cage.
Oh Jump is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Pierce wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Jump has him pressed against the cage.

Pierce manages to break the clinch.
Pierce dives in for a single leg takedown but Jump sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Jump blocking some punches.
Pierce tries to throw a body punch but Jump avoids it by throwing Pierce back against the cage.
Jump seems to have got his legs back now.
A frustrated look appears on Jump's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Pierce's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Jump lands a glancing blow to the side of Pierce's head.
Jump pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Jump doesn't manage to clinch there - Pierce circles away.
Pierce fails with the takedown.
Alex Jump has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lucas Pierce.

Jump throws a half hearted mid kick.

A left lands for Pierce.
Pierce fails with a takedown attempt.
Good standup being displayed there by Pierce as he connects with a hook.
Jump tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Jump is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Jump tries to close the distance and clinch up but Pierce swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Pierce stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Pierce fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Jump.

Jump pushes Pierce up against the cage in a clinch.
Jump lands a body shot.
Jump wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Jump breaks from the clinch.
Pierce misses with a head kick.

Pierce throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Jump's head.
Pierce dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Jump tries to close the distance and clinch up but Pierce swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Pierce fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Jump to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Jump looks to clinch but Pierce throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Jump taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
