The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mamedov misses with a head kick.
A head kick misses from Mamedov.
Mamedov dives in for a single leg takedown but Telford sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Mamedov drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Mamedov looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Telford throws a knee to the head but misses.
Mamedov wants a takedown.
Filip Telford has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Oleg Mamedov.
Telford is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Mamedov is defending well for now.
Telford using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Mamedov has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Mamedov looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Telford is looking to control Mamedov's arms but Mamedov gets an underhook and turns him. Now Telford has his back to the cage.

Mamedov manages to break the clinch.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Telford.
Mamedov lands with a slapping head kick.
Mamedov changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Telford tries to avoid it but Mamedov manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Telford to the ground. Telford escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Mamedov misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Mamedov looks winded!

and Telford counters with a thumping low kick.
Mamedov tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Telford defends well and Mamedov ends up having to push Telford into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Telford tries a knee to the head but Mamedov blocks it.

Telford breaks the clinch.
Mamedov throws a head kick that misses
and Telford counters with an inside leg kick.
Telford scores with a leg kick.
Telford feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Mamedov's calf.
Telford lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

It looks like Oleg Mamedov has been cut.
Telford fakes the leg kick and cracks Mamedov in the body.
Filip Telford is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Telford throws a nice head kick!
Mamedov will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Oleg Mamedov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Telford cracks Mamedov with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Mamedov is rocked!

Telford circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Mamedov drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Telford follows Mamedov to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
