The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kalju moves into the clinch.
Kalju wants to take the fight to the mat but Mayer manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Kalju is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Mayer to keep the fight standing.

Kalju is trying desperately to land a takedown but Mayer is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Kalju.

Kalju throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mayer's waist but Mayer gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kalju off to one side.

No luck for Kalju with that takedown attempt.
The fighters circle, before Mayer throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Kalju's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Mayer lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
